Mrs. McDowell was nominated in our Giving Thanks campaign with the following remarks:
Mrs. McDowell puts extreme effort into providing the best education experience possible for her students. She plans diligently and establishes multiple labs and demonstrations. She stays late to answer questions, help kids catch up, and coach Science Olympiad. She attends her students games, performances, and concerts when possible. She truly cares about each individual student and tries to make sure each student’s educational needs are met in her classroom. No one puts forth more effort, dedication, and time to provide the best educational experience for her students than Mrs. McDowell.
What’s my word count? I could talk about this amazing educator for hours and hours and hours. She does labs constantly (science teacher), adds as many real-world application scenarios as possible, and is always on the hunt for more and better resources for her classroom. She deserves this more than anyone I have ever known.
